I was having the exact same issues as everyone in the comments I kept doing exactly what he said and nothing. Just a constant loop of the same “your database is corrupted” message.

After hours of trying I tried other options and it’s fixed.

Go into the same “safe mode menu” like he did and instead of clicking there is an option that is now since gone when I went back to check to help but I think it was something like option 3 “repair corrupt download files” or something of that nature.

My PS5 is back up and running…… knock on wood.

I get this a lot due to constant power outages in my area. When it means damage to ps5 does it mean a circuit fry due to thunderstorm or a damaged database meaning you can’t rebuild it?
