got my ps5 yesterday and when I hop on my games it crashes after like 30 seconds

I can’t even play games longer than a hour before my ps5 will crash and turn off mid game, hopefully this helps it
UPDATE this did not help. But I opened up my ps5 and did a very quick and simple cleaning of the fan with canned compressed air to get all the dust off my fan and now I no longer have the problem., hope this helps someone

Hope this helps. Games have been soft locking. Or the home menu softlocks. It won't even let me turn it off with the buttons. Even if I can it still tells me it wasnt turned off correctly despite using the button.

My console is brand new not even 2 weeks old and it just randomly shut itself off on me tonight. I had Spotify playing & when I launched a game (UFC 4) my screen went black and my PS5 lights turned blue and the console just shut itself off. When I turned it back on it said error occurred in the system software the last time the PS5 was used but like I said all I did was have Spotify playing as I launched a game. I just hope it’s not an on going issue with my PS5.
