How To Reset Oil Light On Suzuki Outboards (Quick and Simple)

In this weeks video we'll cover how to reset the oil change light on a Suzuki Outboard motor. When your outboard motor has reached 10 hours of use and then at intervals thereafter your suzuki outboard motor will have a warning alarm that will notify you of the oil change being due. Depending on the configuration of your boat or your gauges you may see a red light flashing on your dash gauge or a warning to change your oil on the digital gauge. This lets you know that it's time to change the oil on your suzuki outboard motor. Once you've changed the oil in your Suzuki motor you'll need to reset the oil change warning light.

There's a super simple process to reset the oil change warning light on your suzuki outboard as long as you know what to do but it's not obvious so today I'm walking you through the quick and simple steps to reset the oil change light.

This only works on older, non push button start. If you have a newer Suzuki with push button start: 1. Remove safety lanyard, 2. Turn key to on, 3. Press the start/stop button three times (within 10 seconds)

I've got a 2004 90hp Johnson Bombadier that's the same as Suzuki DF90TLK4. (Suzuki supplied the motors and Johnson put their name on them, so I've been told) I had a low oil light with beeper come on last week. My kill switch has no red pull out, mine only pushes in. I've tried pushing the killswitch button in 3 times fast with ignition switch on, off, even with motor running but light and beeper remain on. Oil is full and clean. My next plan is to replace the oil pressure sensor switch on the motor unless someone has another suggestion. Anyone know, Is there a reset on this type motor?

hi my DF30A 30hk start the oil light 14 hrs 57mins and book say service on first time are at 20hrs ..

Performing this tasks on my 2017 DF200A as instructed completely reset my instrument configuration and cleared out all the Bus Devices in the system. How do I reconfigure my settings?
