Hiya, I wonder if VO2max can somehow be approximated using only ventilation data and not drawing blood during an exercise test. I'm interesting how sensitive Fick's Equation is. Say cardiac output and oxygen uptake are way above average, but oxygen use very poor. Say a person who's been running for many years but has inborn muscle and energy creation problems. Would it be possibly to still get a normal VO2max?
