Показать описание
Hank begins teaching you about your endocrine system by explaining how it uses glands to produce hormones. These hormones are either amino-acid based and water soluble, or steroidal and lipid-soluble, and may target many types of cells or just turn on specific ones. He will also touch on hormone cascades, and how the HPA axis affects your stress response.

I watch these when I was in A&P 1 and 2 my freshman year of college, and now I’m watching them all again in nursing school and I’m about to graduate with my BSN! I am SO thankful for crash course 😍

When you learn more from a 10 minute YouTube video than you do from your college A&P professor :(

Bless this video, because we have been talking about hormones in my advanced physiology class for like a month, and this solidified a lot of the foundation of what the professor has been talking and now things make more sense!! Thank youuuu, Crash Course!!

You should make a study guide/ note sheets! I want to thank you, I watched most of your videos when I was in A&P 1 and 2. I did well in both and I am now in my second semester of nursing.

This is incredible, the last time I heard someone explaining how the hormones work was when my doctor told me I had two little tumours in my pituitary gland and all the trouble they're causing! Anyways, this video is brilliant, thank you so much.
