It would be a horrible idea for them to end the show without Rick. It started with him, it probably should've ended sometime after the Savior war with him too. After he left the show, it has just felt like a spin-off of TWD for the whisperer war and beyond, it stopped feeling like the walking dead, at least to me

The show started with Rick, it would suck if it doesn't end with him. If he does return it will probably only be for the last minute of the finale to give us a little tease about the movie.

No he’s not coming back, no the movie isn’t happening, no Madison isn’t coming back, the Spin offs aren’t happening, yes AMC is ending their connection to the property and they’re wrapping up the show for a syndication deal with another network.

I would really like to see Rick return, but I dont think it will happen unless it's a cameo leading up to the movies. I also wonder if the massive group Michonne is with now is made up of alot of smaller group's that combined for a greater cause.

My thing is, it all comes down to what the Carol & Daryl spin-off is about. If its about heading off to find Rick (which is what I believe it is), then Rick will obviously not return in the finale. I do believe we will see a shot of him though, possibly waking up in the CRM, paralleling 1x01. However, if the spin-off ISN'T about Rick, then that tells me that Rick and/or Michonne returns in Season 11. There is no way Daryl will just get up & run away on an adventure, leaving Judith & RJ behind, with no parents. They just wouldn't do that in my opinion & the writers know that is extremely out of character for Daryl. So in conclusion, it's kind of a win/win. We either get a spin-off, dedicated to finding Rick, linking with the movies or Rick/Michonne return in the final season & there is a peaceful & happy ending with everyone reunited.
