Now interestingly the Walking Deads end doesnt end with a Walking Dead End. The series breathes new life into things to come and we see Rick and Michonne setting up their own spin-off series which is due to start filming next month. The ending sort of acts as a trailer for that with it teasing what’s to come. I’ll talk about this more in just a bit but we start off with Daryl carrying Judith into a hospital sort of last of us style with Joel and Ellie. The first episode of The Walking Dead of course had a major moment where Rick woke up in one and the series is sort of coming full circle from there. The characters are either there or desperate to get there and returning to a location like this was sort of like poetry they rhyme.

Incase you’re not fully uip to speed with where the common wealth is this was basically a recreation of life before the outbreak and it had all the characters saying we live in a society run by corrupt politicians and a family that controls everything. Led by Pamela milton she ended up unleashing a zombie hoarde which put the citizens into lockdown. No prizes for guessing what that’s a reference too. This through everything into chaos and this episode very much becomes about taking her down and freeing the citizens of the commonwealth.

Big ups for Daryl and Carol to make it from the first season ALL THE WAY to the final Season without leaving or skipping ! ❤

Eugene did not take Coco. Father Gabriel kept Coco. Eugene and Max have their own child and they named her after Rosita.

That whole Yumiko group crying their asses off didn’t stir any emotion in me, yet carol saying to Daryl, “You’re my best friend” had me crying out loud. 😭

I feel so bad for michonne’s kids 😭 like damn her dad left, her mom left, her closest uncle/father figure left like damn… i guess it takes a village but damn.

They gave the walking dead a nice ending, but I hope there is a special episode down the road where everyone is back together and they show commonwealth again. I really hoped Rick would've flew in with a cure for Rosita too lol

I liked how when we met Gabe he wouldn’t let His people into his church out of fear of death
And at the end of the series he’s actually risking his life to let strangers in
Big arc aye

Rosita scene hurt me real bad 😭😢 Real tears 😭 Mix feelings after finding out she proposed the idea to kill off her own character 😢😢

They were clearly showing us how Ricks boots and things ended up on the ship that later lead Michonne on her journey to find him. Maybe they were thinking of each other at those camp fires, but these two things happened at two very different times.

Rosita’s death was emotional. Only gripe was it felt like they crammed way too much into one episode and it showed. They possibly should have done a two part season finale.

in the first season, Morgan's zombie wife could turn the door handle, when the gang first met Rick in the ground floor of a building, a walker used a rock to smash the glass, there are other instances but it was mostly dropped by season 2

I'm excited to see the Rick and Michone spin off. I really hope they reunite with Judith and R.J. To see Ricks fa e when he finds out he has another, son! I miss Ricks Character so, much. He was the heart of this series.

Glenn’s death still gets to me, I felt like my brother died, it was so unexpected, I felt like the show went downhill after that, I never got into the later seasons, I thought they where pretty bad

PLEASE HELP. There's about 50 zombie make-up artists that are now homeless, living on the streets. They just wander around aimlessly, looking for people to zombify (which is ironic)... Would you consider adopting one into your loving home? They're potty trained and most of them will stop trying to put make-up on you after you sternly tell them "NO. BAD..." or, occasionally, use a spray bottle. Shelters are full and they could really use your help.

I have watched every episode and felt that this was the best possible way to tie things up. I was reminded of how much I enjoyed each season when the character flashbacks appeared before it’s switched to Rick and Michonne. Jesus got me 😢 this was a great video and explained the ending perfectly for those who understandably might have not followed through with TWD.

Some missed callbacks and Easter eggs:
• Variant walkers where "first" introduced in after credit scene in TWD: World Beyond in France
• Gabe letting the people in mirroring his redemption, when he locked himself in the church and won't let people in and let him to die
• Pamela wanting to kill herself might be a nod to Carols comic death
• Daryl blocking Judiths room just like Shane did to Rick
• Rositas death is similar to Andreas death in the comics
• Chandler Riggs made a cameo as Hilltop residence
• Ricks job is similar to Silas in TWD: World Beyond

I loved the references to earlier seasons, like the zombie that used a rock at the very beginning to smash the store window the first group was stuck at, and Darryl barricading the hospital room for Judith, like Shane did for Rick. I look forward to the spinoff, I can ever get around to watching Fear the Walking Dead and World Beyond

I think the story with Negan and Maggie is one of the best parts of the season.

Rosita did her "Force Blast" on the mass of zombies that were piled upon her.
She's so powerful.
