One time I was holding a puppy and opened my mouth wide. I was just playing with her, but she saw my open mouth and yawned. I did it again, this time intentionally, and she yawned a second time. Then she, I kid you not, CURLED UP AND FELL ASLEEP WITHIN SECONDS.

Goes to show how empathic puppies are! Didn't even yawn and she caught a contagious yawn.

I feel like empathy levels are a lot harder to measure than with a "yawn test" video. I had zero urge to yawn but I definitely relate to other's pain and sorrows and tear up watching movies or reading novels and such regularly.

i tend to show my empathy by comforting a sad person or do chores for a widow. you all go on and keep yawning - i'm sure the world will be better for it.
