Which Disney Characters Clear Kingdom Hearts?

Today we are going to find out if the Disney characters have what it takes to make it through Kingdom Hearts when Sora isn't around. Which characters will make it through? And who won't? Time to find out so let's dive in and take a look.

Nah I think you nailed it if you are going purely off of movie canon. While I do think some of these characters would have a good chance if they were thrust into the worlds of KH with in universe powerrups being possible (like I could absolutely see Ariel or Aladdin unlocking a keyblade, unlocking magic, etc.), but if we are keeping things straight, then most of them really can't do it.

My suggestion for if you do this again is that, if the canon version of a character can't clear, you do a second analysis that accounts for the abilities they have in their own worlds in KH to see if that would get them farther.

For example, I can't see the canon version of Simba making it past the first chapter of KH2 Olympus (at least Land of Dragons chapter 1 is doable since the main matchup is a fucking lion against a stronger-than-average human in Shan-Yu), but if you account for his participation in the fight against a Heartless-ghost-Scar who had magical powers, and assume Nala could equal that strength since she overpowered Simba when neither of them recognized the other, a Team Simba that includes her might be able to beat Cerberus.

If you’re going to use Tarzan, definitely check out his book feats. Dude’s a master of stealth, and pretty handy at trap-making too, which he often demonstrates to horrifying effect.

You should do a follow up, acknowledging the sequels to each of these characters stories, including other video games like nightmare before Christmas oogies revenge, and perhaps expand teams to 5, the max for kh3. just a definitive peak version of each character with their best teams and items, like giving Peter his best lost boys and some ranged options given he used them in hook. Then, bring it over to chain of memories and the other's in order. And hell, throw the various ff characters into the mix, let's see how many side characters could have done this given keyblades weren't a factor.

Jack Skellington is friends with everyone in Halloween Town, including Oogie Boogey & Dr Frankenstein, and whould probably have them on his team instead of Sally and Zero

If we're going to use outside-of-movie canon media, there's a pre-Nightmare Before Christmas video game where Jack very much does fighting, albeit with the assistance of some green goo hand tether thing that the scientist guy cooked up. Still, it's how he got the title of Pumpkin King, even having taken on giant Oogie Boogie. Specifically with this added he'd probably get through the first few worlds - with no help from his party - but would still ultimately fail in the long run.

My one caveat for Herc: the heartless could still potentially steal his heart. Could you imagine a god turned into a heartless? But he’s strong enough he could keep from getting hurt by them.

If we added the TV series into the mix, I think Tarzan would fare better. I wouldn't say he's able to take down Ansem, but I think he could handle everything up to and including Dragon Malificent, Atlantica excluded. Riku-Ansem? No, that's where his run ends.

I would love to see who gets to challenge Kingdom Hearts 2, but I fear that the endgame's power scale would be higher and wipe everyone... I mean, Xemnas and the Organization XIII are no joke compared to Riku.

Ngl I think you’re underselling Beast here, dude is a 12 foot tall powerhouse and the only reason Gaston got the upper hand on him was because Beast was holding back and was also depressed as fuck. Beast in KH1 was shown to be so strong of heart that he literally traversed the darkness without a Gummi Ship essentially through sheer force of willpower, ain’t no way anything short of Hollow Bastion is stopping him and honestly I think if he tried against Riku enough he’d beast him as well. Lumiere and Cogsworth are pretty worthless party members though lol.

I just want to note with KH3, I did a critical run and I found this really funny that Herc was getting one shot in quite a few fights, but Marshmallow from Arendelle was tanking more hits than a literal demigod.
