Once Elon Musk's XAI93x passes $1, it may NEVER see that low again

19:06 please please please, I know Teslas are great and will keep on running for many years, but don’t tell people to buy Hertz vehicle. When my Model 3 was in the shop after two back-to-back hit and runs, I had to rent a Model 3 from Hertz to continue doing Uber. The car was a year newer (2022), had 70k miles, almost as many miles as mine (2021) and all kinds of noises coming from the steering, dings in all rims and body panels, TPMS error light, average energy consumption of 350Wh/mi (it means people were constantly flooring it) since my LR averages 250 and the rental was an SR+ with better energy efficiency. Just that can tell me that people were not taking care of the battery and most likely will not last long after 120k miles. Plus, since the vehicle was used for business, the 120k battery warranty is voided and any expenses will come out of pocket. You are better off buying a used Tesla from a private party or from Tesla themselves to get the tax credit.

The guy at the supercharger should have told the guy with the rental about plug share.

Shouldn't you mention what removing 2trillion from the 6.5 trillion dollar budget would look like if you are going to present it as a good thing?

Cutting 2trillion from a budget that has less than 2trillion discretionary and less than 2trillion in payroll. If he comes even close to doing what he claims, we are all screwed.

So DOGE is really just a typical "blue ribbon" comity but with grandiose aims.

20:30 rental companies usually buy cars in bulk well below MSRP, so after a year, they still make money selling. After Covid dealers were selling with mark-up over MSRP, the Tesla Model 3 were for MSRP, which seemed like a great deal, but then prices dropped all over.

Why do you guys say the cybertruck would only charge at like 330kW? It showed on screen that it would charge at the full 500kW!

The Rivian/VW deal demonstrates how far behind big auto are. They had plenty of opportunity, decades to start working on EVs and "software" yet they find themselves in a position where they have to buy expertise of others this late in the game... crazy

It’s good you are critical of all the different vehicles. Somebody has to be the watchdog.😊

If/When charging from empty to full in 5 minutes occurs on all passenger EVs and also chargers, very few people will want to own an ICE vehicle. I'm quite sure that milestone will be the final major roadblock for most consumers. I still prefer an EV as it is, just to be clear.

When the discretionary part of the US budget is $1.7T where is he going to find $2T?
