53 Year Old Skin Cells Rejuvenated To 23 | Review By Modern Healthspan

In this video we talk about a study that used the Yamanaka factors to rejuvenate skin fibroblasts by 30 years. To do this they reprogrammed the cell into the maturation phase, where it had partly changed into a stem cell, yet still remembered its identity. When the Yamanaka factors were removed the cell went back to its original identity (a skin cell) but was now 30 years younger.

If I remember well, Dr. Sinclair's group already used transient reprogramming of Yamanaka Factors IN VIVO. It succeeded in regenerating a mouse optic nerve. It's encouraging that other research groups are also working on this technique. Science fiction stuff. Thanks for the news !

I will look forward to this. From what I read, this reverse aging made other promising results like it will help cure cancer, gain muscle, lose fat, cure vision problems & good brain functioning. I will also look forward to not only fox your skin and do all those things, but it might also rejuvenate you to look 20 or younger then, like 10 or 15, and feel that way too. Most likely Hollywood would no longer use anti-aging visual effects when it is ready.
