I run this in my Doc Aurlock deck- it is jank afk, but it's what I live for.

Funny addition: all the footfalls style cards (uncastable but with an alternate casting cost) can just be cast with this ability with X=0.

If the cauldron itself was a 1-drop you could do some cool stuff with it but at 4 it kind of defeats the purpose.

Worth noting that doubling cube will double the Cauldrons mana but the new mana will bot have the same casting restrictions. So if you keep proliferation the cauldron you can spend invest too much mana to create am absolute machine of a mana rock.

If you have an untapper, this can also act as a jank mana doubler. Activate it for 0, untap, activate it for an actual amount. Now it has two charge counters and you can activate it twice more later to double your mana.

On the other hand, by the time you can do this, Empowered Autogenerator will generate 10+4X mana, where X is the turns you've had it previously.

An interesting card to be sure. I imagine it'd be good for cheating out an expensive card even if you're mana screwed.

That’s sort of neat. It’s always cool learning about niche cards. By the way, I don’t know how this is usually done, I’m not really on social media, but is it possible for me to submit a deck for the next time you do deck reviews? It’s a Missy morph sacrifice deck with a couple infinite combos, that abuses her ability by sacrificing morphs and then flipping them face up again.
