Maybe it’s just me, but that normal villager noise IS scary, the idea of hearing a regular villager that you KNOW ISNT REGULAR in a place a villager WOULDNT BE, as it’s way of making its presence known and actively trying to lure, knowing it’s trying to kill you in that moment. That’s scary.
