I’ve thought for years that Amazon needs to do better quality control for the items they offer. They also allow listing of items that are fake but listed as original. They are becoming less and less of a trusted buying source.

Yep send it back. Amazon will soon get tired of paying postage and refunds.

I always measure out 1 metre of bubblewrap, cut it off, and weigh it. Then, I weigh the remaining roll and divide that by the weight of the metre I cut off. I often find that I only receive about 65 metres. However, Amazon is usually good about addressing complaints and refunds.

Ebay used to be the centre for crooks and conmen. For the past 5 or so years Amazon has that beat.

You should see the claims they make for flashlights. They somehow make more light from a pair of AA batteries than a spotlight at the London Palladium.

Wow! I didn't expect it to be that short. I bet they don't expect anyone to go to those lengths (excuse the pun). Just about to buy some bubble wrap so thanks for this. It also casts doubt on any preconception we might have that Amazon has awareness of the lack of credibility of some of its sellers and the stuff they are selling to unsuspecting customers. We've given away quality and trading ethics for convenience and fast delivery and allowed the wild west to flourish.

Can’t believe trading standards can’t sort these sellers out! As it is business to business your local council trading standards should! It’s such a pain to try to measure bubble wrap and they know that. Well done for continuing to look at this issue. You should send this to Rip Off Britain or one of the other consumer programmes

I've just been measuring our bubblewrap after watching your video and it measures the correct length of 100 metres. We have bought ours from Easipack for the last few years. I never even thought about checking until i saw your video thanks for the heads up to check. Now we just need to find a way to check brown tape is actually 66 metres lol.

Thanks for all your efforts, you’ve exposed criminality! These days pretty much any product you click on seems to lead to Amazon so they don't care anymore. I bought a well known brand of filing cabinet from them and it turned out to be a counterfeit copy with sharp edges and poor quality materials, nothing like the real thing, needless to say it went back. I recently purchased a roll of bubble wrap from them which is supposed to be 100m, so I'd better go get my tape measure...

Amazon are complicit. They can’t argue that I didn’t know, following your video send the video to them. If they then still market. These companies goods that are complicit in the fraud
