WOW!!!...Did Home Free go back in time to sing that with Don Mclean? Mr. Mclean hasn't lost very much after 50 years.
I watched this ten minutes ago and just started breathing again and closed my mouth. Amazing...just Amazing.

Don McLean is 75 now. Unbelievable. His song "Vincent" always breaks my heart.

So cool that Home Free got to collab with Don McLean for the 50th anniversary of this Iconic song. They did a fantastic job with it!

I love that whenever they collaborate they don’t take over, they really work with the original singers but still make it theirs 😀

This Wednesday, Feb. 3. will be the anniversary of "the day the music died" - the day of the plane crash that killed Buddy Holly, Richie Valens, and The Big Bopper. Home Free is releasing the video of this on that day. I got a sneak peek as a Patron. It's outstanding! You'll definitely want to check it out! BTW, Chris Rupp just released a video of Josh Turner's "Long Black Train" featuring Tim. It's great also. I always enjoy your reactions!

This was brilliant. If you know what the song is about, the original brings tears. This well, apparently there were onion ninjas around. A wonderful cover of a song our current generation needs to hear.

This is great. I love the fact that singers will collaborate with each other to remake songs. Home Free does a great job with these collaborations and has fun doing it.

I listened today for the premier and I fell in love with the song all over again. You need to watch the video that they released Feb 3rd. I loved Don McLean's original and having him sing too was just stunning. As far as Austin and his accent, he has been home in Georgia for almost a year with very little travel. So, the accent just gets thicker.

Wait until you watch the video!!! Incredible how they put it together with social distancing from their homes, adding all the old stuff from back in the day, films from then too. Wow. They are so super creative them and their staff/producer, etc. Didn't Chance just kill the solo parts he did? You will see him in the video. His voice was perfectly made for this type of old song!! They all did awesome! Of course, my fav Austin did what he always does!!! And Tim/Adam on the beat/bass, wow oh wow! What an honor that Don asked them to do this with him. It should make a lot of people find out what Home Free can do. He said he chose them because they "KNOW harmonies like the Jordanaires". They were an incredible quartet that backed up Elvis and others. Take care and watch for tomorrow!!! See you then.

So special! Fantastic collaboration. Don McLean sounds great and each of the guys verses we amazing! They did their thing, gave nod to the original yet made it their own. The video is awesome, simple done so you can focus on the music. Adam kicked butt on the beat boxing for this one.

Chance and Tim's higher register really blew me away. I have heard Tim do his higher register before, but Chance's part was... WOW. Rob's voice also somewhat reminds me of Don McLean's voice when he was younger haha, Austin did pretty amazing too. It's amazing that Home Free is surprising us with this collaboration with music Legends. I can't wait to see who will be the next Legend they will be doing collab with.

I’ll tell you what - all their collaborations with Kenny Rogers, Lee Greenwood, Alabama, Oak Ridge Boys and now Don McLean are so good. These older gentlemen all in their 70’s can still sing! It was fun hearing Chance, Austin, Rob, Tim all taking a part and they all sounded so good and then those background Keep going boys! Loved your reaction.

I watched some of the behind the scenes. Don McLean wanted to sing it very special and change it up a little, because of Home Free. He was like, it's gonna be the best. Home Free + Charlie Daniels was nice too: The Devil Went Down to Georgia.

I love how they started and ended with classic McLean and then gave Chance, Austin, Rob and Tim each the perfect verse for them. And yes, there’s a video.

I love this! A year ago I was watching them live in Sydney. Probably won't happen again for awhile, but at least we can still enjoy their amazing music.

"American Pie" is a song by Don McLean written in 1971. The song is mainly about "the day the music died", which is the name McLean gave on February 3, 1959, the day when Buddy Holly, Ritchie Valens, and J.P. "The Big Bopper" Richardson died in a plane crash.
