Is it safe as a solo female traveler in India?

This is a question I get asked a lot.
I want to say it’s great. It’s safe. But how can I lie?
When I travel by myself around my own beautiful country, I am many times worried, scared and anxious. How do we solve this problem? How do we make our stunning country safe for women?

This sweet water lake in Arambol is beautiful and worth a visit. Girls just be careful if you’re alone.

Women tourists should travel to India solo if they want to see nightmares without sleeping

If you are still staying in Aarambol, there is a small hike along the lake that takes you into a jungle with small private ponds and if you are lucky you may find the famous baba there who lives and sleeps there all by himself. A lot of people hike to meet the baba. Still the walk is adventurous and pleasant and definitely safe. 🌞

Have been traveling since 22+ years (only India)...yes, my experiences of solotraveling has made me adapt & create awareness that there's only a Strong Mind & a Mind, which is taking its Time & Pace to pick up. Let's give upon Gender games & move forward to evolve.

The answer is Yes and No. Yes for some places in India with cultural and safety standard, but no for dangerous or crowded areas or some manner that Can put you in trouble.

Anything can happen to anyone (irrespective of the gender or place) if we are not careful and aware about our surroundings while travelling. Half of the problems can be prevented if you remain aware.
