Larry was as good of a 3-point shooter the world had ever seen. That being said, many players since him are better 3 point shooters than he was. But Bird didn't grow up with a 3 point line, so he didn't practice it as much. Steph has attempted almost 8000 3s, Bird only attempted 1767. I have no doubt Bird would be a top shooter in today's game, especially with the upbringing of today's players. However, the iteration of Bird that we saw and knew isn't a top 10 3-point shooter all time.
