I know plenty of Star Wars fans, not being one myself, who gave the show a chance & it wasn't even the canon breaking stuff they disliked. It was the way characters would change motivations & the story meandered without any kind of tight direction. That turned most of them off long before the plot points began to bother them.

As a woman myself, I'm so tired of other women shrieking about misogyny when criticized for poor performance or presentation. It's such a weak way to defend your incompetence or lack of capabilities by using your vaginal pass like that. There's that old quote about how Ginger Rogers had to do all the same steps as Astaire but backwards & in heels; yes becuase she had skills & talent. She didn't just say that she's a good dancer because she's a woman.
