I feel like 128 gb is the sweet spot for storage on these devices. Like you said, they are masters of upselling. If the Air had a 128 option it’d be good for my needs.

I just recently bought my iPad 9th gen and I mainly use it for school - like taking down notes and editing. I'm very satisfied with it. I was torn between buying the 9th gen for its budget friendly price or the iPad pro for its M1 chip. However, I realized that I'm mainly using it for school and not really doing some heavy stuff, so I chose 9th gen with 256gb❤️. I watch Netflix on my iPad too from time to time. It's definitely worth it and I love it! 😁

I just bought my 1st ever iPad and I got the 12.9" Pro. I don't have a laptop, just an iMac so, with the MKB, it bridges the gap to my iPhone perfectly. Yes, I could've got a MacBook Pro for the same price, but MacBooks don't come with touch screens, so I've got the best of both worlds IMO. I use Scrivener on my iMac and the iPad now gives me a portable solution.

I also bought the new iPad Air for my wife, along with an Apple Pencil (she has a MacBook Pro), and she's thrilled with it.

Honestly, the iPad Mini 6 is the most worthwhile device Apple has made in recent memory. If you don't need more than 64 gigs, absolutely get it. It's exceptionally beautiful and fun to use

Since I'm using my iPad mostly for drawing and progressively I'll be doing more 3d/ AR I will upgrade for a 12'9" hopefully this year - but my base iPad has been great for the past 4 years and definitely what I'd recommend too for anyone who doesn't have a very specific case use (or bottomless reserves of money 😅)

You forgot to mention that for the iPad 9th gen as magic keyboard alternative you can get the Logitech combo touch which has a trackpad, connects through smart connectors, and has way more viewing angles. Basically Logitech folio touch for budget iPad.

Considering battery drainage and reducing eye strain, I would definitely recommend going for a 11” iPad Pro. I am experiencing the use of it and the use is satisfying (especially health-wise). Other than that I recommend this iPad Pro 11” not just because of not wasting (or using) too much money, but also because it takes less space. Price wise I say it’s not just taxes that matter, but also the price of the product itself affects the user’s experience. Not to mention that glass isn’t much of a good thing to use as material, as I definitely would go for titanium (since it’s a very durable, yet a strong metal) over glass with such an expensive price. Apple needs to start thinking more about what to do to reduce or permanently put an end to battery health reduction (especially when cases come to software performance).

I love my iPad Mini 6 64GB. Perfect for reading and the Apple Pencil 2 for note-taking is great. It's pure joy using it.

Pro tip for all of you buying an iPad online. Apple doesn’t check or verify if you are a student so go ahead and enjoy that discount

HARDCORE iPad user here.
I use my iPads for musician work (sheet music) and mobile presentations (keynote). Laptops won’t cut it there: touchscreen needed + keyboards get in the way.
12’9 is perfect size for sheet music. It can replace 100s of A4/ Letter size pages… and you can have them nicely organized on your iPad. Switching to iPads was a game changer for me.
Smaller 11 inch (10’9) or even 10’2 can still be ok for sheet music… if you can keep your notation close or have a good eyesight. It is a bit smaller than the standard A4/ Letter size page of music though. I can’t comment if iPad Mini is usable at all, because I don’t own it.
I love the Mini-LED on the 12’9 iPad Pro. The so called „blooming” issue is exaggerated. AMAZING screen (I want a 27 inch desktop version). With that being said, I use my smaller iPads 10’2-11 inch more often for media consumption around the house. They’re more comfortable to carry around.

Just bought iPad Pro 2020 128GB wifi+cellular for the price of base ipad air 5. I really need the cellular for gaming on the go. Overall im very satisfied with my purchase since i went with a pro model, 120fps is really nice to have.

Alternatively, you can also consider a second hand 2020 iPad Pro, which has 128gb base storage, 120Hz screen, better speaker, LiDAR and an amazing A12Z chip.

This is the only complete overview of the whole 2022 iPad line I've seen. Thanks for this video. It's helping me decide on what I would like, and might officially pull the trigger on expanding into the iPad market. I, too, am frustrated that the iPad Air only comes in 64 and 256. Give us 128 at a price between the 64 and take my money! 64 just seems far too little. Especially for $599. I may be holding out for the next one to see if the iPad Air can come in 128.

My iPad2 died last night unexpectedly after many years of use. Looking at the options in today's video ...I am mega confused as to what to go for. Well done Apple for making the decision really difficult. I will sit on my hands for now.

I would like to raise my hand in favour of cellular models, tbh. My story is that I immediately got the Mini because I knew what I was going to use it for. The Mini comes along with me to the gym, cafes, relaxing on the bed, it’s the perfect size, aaand, I stick magnetic plates on the back of my casing, stick some more on my dashboard, and split the screen for music and gps for my drives. I did initially thought I’d just hotspot it everywhere. But, I regretted that since it was noticeably slow when I’m using the gps that I was missing some toll exits. And I had to carry my phone and the Mini too while working out. I use fitness apps, and it’s obviously better to watch them on an iPad than a phone. Note: there are instances when I don’t want want my phone to be around; too many notifications etc, can’t be bothered. So, after some while I started to get irritated. Didn’t think I would, but time proved me wrong. So I changed it to the cellular model, and to me, it really made a difference. But hey, that’s for me. :)
