Pre-PA Study Tips!

Показать описание
Howdy everyone! I hope you are all doing well this semester and are making the grades you want to (and need to!) for your journey to PA school! Here is some advice on studying that I have learned and changed over the years to a system that has really been working. (Finally! haha) I forgot to mention something in my video! USE YOUTUBE RESOURCES to help teach yourself material!
Here is a link to the PA Counselor's YouTube channel - be sure to check him out and congratulate him on his acceptances!
Here are my suggestions!
1. DELETE NETFLIX
2. Use a planner, white board calendar, and phone reminders to hold you accountable to your upcoming tasks, tests, quizzes, and presentations.
3. Take good notes in class - make *** or highlight what profs emphasize multiple times or tell you, "This will be on the test"
4. Re-write your notes when you get home
5. Go through your notes and create potential test questions and answers for your own personal review sheet
6. Flashcards - this is good for material you need to memorize and regurgitate (AOI's for Anatomy anyone?!)
7. Work on any review documents your professors provide - even if they are 20 pages long!
8. Textbooks: Read the text before lecture, go to lecture and take good notes, then read the text again after lecture.
Hope this helps! These positive changes I have made have really made a difference in the QUALITY of my studies and improved my GPA!
