Thanks so much for this insight! I have graduated and have to take 3 prerequisite to be more competitive as well as GRE. I'm so excited to finally be really applying. ***Here is my note to self I will get into PA next cycle.

Currently taking my first science course prerequisites this semester (have a BA in sociology, whole different beast), and wow, we are not in Kansas anymore. Realizing I have to take less classes at a time than I wanted because these classes are hard and I also have to work at the same time to get those patient care hours. I'm going to apply a year later than I initially planned. I've had to adjust the way and amount I study in order to do better, because this first part of the semester I haven't done as well as I should. I hope I make it to and through PA school. This isnt easy!

My A&P 1 and 2 will expire next year! I took them in 2020. Any advice? I am not sure ir I can apply next year since I still have about 5 more classes to take 😢.
Also, I have 3 years working as a certified hemodialysis patient care technician so I have like 5, 000 hours . Should I keep working with patients and make less money or work as a nanny and make more and work less and be able to pay for the pre requisites for a year????

Please advice me! Thanks so much!

Thanks for the helpful tips! I'm curious, considering your personal obligations, would you say you ended up spending 2 hours studying independently/outside of class weekly per credit for both your prereq and PA classes (eg 4-credit course translates to 8 hours studying per week)?

Great video, I was wondering if someone can help me with a question I have. I have my bachelors degree and almost all my prerequisites. I'm only missing several classes. I would like to take them at my local community College, I have seen in more than 1 PA program that they only accept classes/prerequisites from 4 yesr universities. Is this a common thing? Also, what are your guys opinions on retaking classes? For example, my worst science grade is AP1 with a C. Should I retake it? Thanks in advance and any help is appreciated.
