I'm only 6 minutes in and I am so thankful that you have made the time to share your skills and knowledge like this to help elevate others to understand. I'm really liking how it's going so far to get control over these complicated processes for multiplayer control.

Odd, I cleared the default pawn class, but the thirdpersoncharacterBP is still spawning (auto receive input is off). before I cleared the pawn class, and set the default pawn class to be the input receiver, it was not showing in the outliner on play, nor were my action mapped keys printing. Not sure if I should continue if I can't get this first step working xD

edit: I found out the problem.. In UE5, the thirdperson templates map, defaults to overriding the gamemode. I just needed to override the override xD

Thank you so much! I'm working on my own game rn and struggled with overriding spawn system. I knew that it can be done inside GameMode, but didnt know how to bite this topic. Hope to see next episode soon. Good luck!

Problem: GameMode not been loaded, every time the game starts it loads the BP_ThirdPersonGameMode.
Solution for UE5: World Settings -> Game Mode -> Game Mode Override set as none or BP_GameMode

Question: since Hamachi is a virtual LAN, it should be possible to set up a server that people can connect to, right?

Has the idea of showing the end result never occurred to any of these brilliant YouTubers. I mean cmon, I have no idea if the end result is what I am looking for before 30 minutes of lectures.

Thanks for splitting the video up into the different categories covered in this video, that is super helpful! (Although they're not timestamped on the video or in the description, just a heads up.) I like the idea of these short videos, it's quite nicely paced. Even if you've got future videos that are 30+ mins, it will be much easier to digest the information. I'm looking forward to learning this series with you!

Thanks for these helpful tutorials. For some reason my keyboard is controlling all characters. But my controller only controls the correct character. Any idea why?

Is anyone having an issue when adding the Interface to the GameMode, that it doesn't show up in MyBlueprint? Then it gives an error in the BP_InputReceiver. My whole goal is to just get an expanding camera working with multiple player pawns and I'm just about ready to start smashing every screen in my apartment and moving into the woods.
