These brothers had no real life. They were abused and then imprisoned. They are the victims and their parents failed them.

I'm not saying what they did to the so called parents is right. But they do deserve to live a life. They were treated awful by the ones that was supposed to take care of them.

I think they should get a new trial. Too many extenuating circumstances and underlying causes which seemed to be ignored . Everyone deserves justice and with that mercy. They have already served time.

Eric and Lyle had a horrible childhood. If their parents were abusive they should have some responsibility for the crimes.

The brothers, especially Lyle were not thrilled with the release of Monsters: Lyle and Eric Menendez Story on Netflix, but it may actually help them get a new trial.

The reality is that the brothers would’ve never been caught had Eric not went and told his therapist. Instead, Eric sold them out & then wondered why they didn’t get away with it.

As horrible their childhood must have been, and taking in consideration that if they were sexually abused, the way they killed their parents are completely cruel and unacceptable. They should have reported their parents in stead of killing them the way they did. They kill their parents for their money, and that was proven in the trail. No excuse for their actions. None!!

Kim saying she was honored to meet them was disrespectful to the people they killed and it made it sound like what they did respectable.

If she truly wanted to make a difference she and and her family could have did the visit without notifying the media and 100% of the money they made from that visit on their show should go towards survivors actual justice reform.

If the rape allegations are true and that's why they kipped their parents then they should 100% be free. People need to remember - these boys acted out due to abuse. Gypsie rose actually managed to talk SOMEONE ELSE into killing her parent. That's scarier than comminting the crime ourself sorry.

I shut off the Netflix Series within the first few minutes because of how the boys' reaction to the press outside the building, was being portrayed. I do not want to hear the victims being painted as the villians of this story anymore. When their first trial was televised for everyone to watch, there was no doubt in my teenage mind what the boys were saying was true. As difficult as their testimony was to hear, their discomfort during their testimony was even harder to watch. Today, I have more compassion for them because they were made to relive their horror infront of the world during that trial and I will never forget it. With everything we have learned about the music industry over the last 30 years, it only validates what I believed as a teenager, that these boys lived through the most severe abuse as children by the people that were entrusted to care and protect them until they were old enough to care and protect themselves. When prosecutors sole goal is to win a case instead of seeking justice in cases, we will continue to see victims tried again and again until prosecutors get what they want.. guilty verdicts that are unjust.
