Those RUDEs record extremely well either in the studio or live. Many people have misconceived ideas about this line. I've been playing 15" RUDE SE hi-hats for decades now and they are easy to play. They can be quick, and they cut through beautifully. The RUDE thin crashes are perfect if you want loud and to open up the cymbal fast without having to whack it with a baseball bat. Paiste knows what they're doing. Can't go wrong with any of those.

I like this demo!
It doesnt wait for the full sustain to end.
This makes it easier to hear the real differences in a real world scenario because most of the time the sustain is not very audiable in a mix anyway.

Those overtones as the group of cymbals decay is gorgeous within itself. I'd record that and tuck it in a track or use it as an intro/outro texture.

I always thought that the rude series was intended for heavy rock and roll, after seeing this video I'm thinking I need a 16" or perhaps a 19" rude thin to compliment my current cymbal setup. They sound amazing.

I have a dozen black-label 2002 cymbals, and 10 red-label 2002's. I have one 19" rude crash. It is amazing as it has power, pitch, and definition, yet still sounds like a 3ft pane of glass shattering when you lay in to it for a huge accent shot.

Please consider adding 22" and 24" thin crashes (unlathed giant beats sound about right). Would be amazing and bright

I love how dark the 20 inch sounds. It puts the meinl custom dark crashes to shame!

I'm more of a Zildjan guy, but these sound incredibly awesome. My 18 Z custom protection crash sounds like an 18 rude wild crash tbh 😅

Why don’t you guys make more 15” Rude hi-hats?
