I had a 24" 900 Mega Ride at some point and I can say this: For the money, it's absolutely excellent. A dedicated ride microphone is necessary to do it justice. It won't cut through as much with just overheads, even when you play with the shoulder of the stick on the body. While the Signatures will produce a nice powerful 'plink' that calls for a -10db pad on the overheads, the 900 also 'plinks', but at a much lower volume. But with a dedicated mic there is no other champion for the money. Yes, it sounds **that** good.

Sounds amazing! My dream cymbal is the 900 Series 22" heavy ride.

i got my 20 inch 900 ride on facebook marketplace for eighty bucks in near mint condition. Absolutely love it. One of my favorite cymbals I've ever used. It's made of the same stuff as 2002's, and you can tell by the sound. Overall cannot recommend it enough. Amazing.

The 900’s are not budget cymbals they are semi-pro. They are made of 2002 and are an endorsed artist product. These cymbals absolutely rock! The 15” heavy hi hats are incredible

I bought a cymbal pack from the 900 series for my practice kit and they are a great sounding, affordable set of cymbals. My 2002's will always be by main set, but if you're on a budget, look no further. I get compliments on the 22" ride from lots of drummers, and the finish is unique, too!

My main ride is the 21” Dry Heavy Ride, I’ve been using a 20” 2002 ride for smaller venues but the bell is so small on it and it’s a little too shimmery. I’ve been trying to find something that’s slightly drier and a touch darker but still has some ping to it, listening to these 900’s compared to even some of the more expensive cymbals sounds better to my ears. The only downside I hear is a little bit of a low end resonance but I may have to pull the trigger on one of these 20” rides. Only question is the regular or the heavy. 🤔

I have the 900 Series Red 22" ride. I use it with Big Beat 15" hi hat, PSTX 16"Thin, 602 ME Crash 18", Masters 20" Dark Crash/Ride to great effect!!!

Bells sound weak not separated enough. Always been Paistes weakness unless you buy Giant Bell cymbals. Even Stewart Copeland said this before. B20 alloy bells just sound better

Anyway too much difference in weight between the standard and heavy ride.
