Ummm Radiologists have to worry about diagnosing every emergency life threatening condition at rapid pace while not missing random cancers and getting sued 😅

Bruh fam med is pretty stressful. You feel like a cog in the wheel, seeing dozens of patients a day and spending 15 minutes per appointment. Day after day of this and you’ll be burned out within a decade. Not worth for the paltry amount you earn compared to other medical specialties. Also you mentioning that Emergency departments are staffed by “general physicians” destroyed all your credibility with this topic.

Psychiatrists are pretty much doing 15 minute medication adjustments, not talk therapy. In fact, it is pretty rare to get one doing talk therapy anymore. I tried finding one for a pt and couldn't.

Family medicine (Gp) is definitely not low stress and less hours in the UK! And the salary is not as high in many parts of the world as the US ..

Not particularly nuanced. Please cite well known job satisfaction relative to pay stats that are already published.

Hi Hisham! I have a slight question. I will finish my bachelor's in “general science'' a year from now and my plan is to go to pharmacy school. However, I am looking at the costs and I don't want so much student debt to hold me back, also I am a pharmacy technician at a huge corporate pharmacy. What is a backup degree that I can have which I can still work in the pharmacy industry? I do love it however I'm just looking at all the debt that I can't afford to have. Is there any program that I can still get into like a PA program with no patient experience? I was going to be a medical assistant at the time but then the pandemic hit. I just thought being a pharmacy technician was just a lot more safe than being in a hospital at the time. Let me know whenever you see this please
