We got adopted by an orange stray, he love playing with our male cat. My lady cat gave him hell but he could jump real high so Id randomly saw an orange cat fly by 😂
He just walked in ate the catfood and went upstairs to sleep, I could pick him up and cuddle. He opened his mouth and the meow came when it was almost closed again 😂

Are we even sure the black cat doesn’t have an owner? Because of everyone saying “adopt him”.

We had a black cat that came to us 24/7, he was more with us than anywhere else. He’d sit in the kitchen and everything. We were sure he had an owner because he was too beautiful not to but he came so often that we worried and gave him food anyway (we have 3 cats of our own). I
put him on facebook in a group with locals asking who owned the cat and the owners spoke up and said they didn’t know why he came and that he has food at home. Shortly after there was a beautifully colored beige/kind of orangy blonde cat coming around who was dirty, thin and incredibly scared of us but he had a collar. He was so incredibly bone thin however that we decided to leave dry food out because he only dared eating whilst we were away unless we even so much as looked at him. I was able to snap a picture to ask who owned him and no one claimed him. We went as far to take the collar off just to see if the owners would put one back and shortly after he had a new one, so we were confused. About a year ago it was absolutely pouring and he was meowing so loudly that I opened the door, he ran back but was still in my backyard so I grabbed some food went low and told him that it’s okay. He slowly dared coming and when I tell you… He didn’t eat the food, he swallowed it. How he ate that food was the indication we needed that he just wasn’t taken care off. That little interaction also broke the ice because when he swallowed the food in my hands he followed me and he ran inside quicker than I could even close the door. It’s safe to say, we kept the collar on him, but he lives with us now. He eats normally, stops when he’s not hungry anymore (we always have dry food out and they get wet good 3 times a day), he’s clean and healthy now. He cuddles with my dog, my cats have accepted him and he recently even dared to sleep on the couch next to my other cats- and even stays overnight.


This is incredibly long, but everything is just to say that you can never be certain which cats are strays. The black cat that came here was acting like one as well whilst the beige cat had a collar and was more homeless. You can’t go around stealing people’s cats and I put the beige baby on multiple groups, even the “missing and found” official thing. He was too scared to read the chip and after he started getting healthier when we fed him, we didn’t want to get his chip read incase he didn’t have one and the obvious abuse would lead him to be put in a shelter.

Both of my black cats trained me to be their landing/launch pad! They are both trying to train me now to balance them on my head ( 1 at a time) and walk around. Im getting pretty good!
