Man, this really hits home for me. When I was about that kids age, my mom took me to the record store with her and told me I could pick out one tape. I wanted to get some kiddie song crap, but my mom was like, "That stuff gives me a headache, can't you find something else?" Welcome to the Jungle was the last song playing on the radio before we pulled in, so I was like, "Yeah. I like that song, . I'll get that." So I picked up a copy of Appetite for Destruction and took it back to my mom. She was like, " Guns and Roses? Aren't they like heavy metal or something?" I was like, "I dunno." She's like, "Well, whatever. Anything's better than that kid song crap. Just don't let your father catch you listening to it." Been rocking ever since.

I remember seeing this back in '91 with the band I was in. I think we either watched it at practice, or after a gig. Someone recorded it on VHS and brought it to us to watch. We were rolling in pain laughing so hard! This was LEGENDARY!
