I hope the drummer plays this back and shows his friends that when he played with Slash on his song, Slash looked to him when to end the tune with a bang! Shows what a great musician Slash is and the respect he has for music and for other musicians, no matter their age.

Ok. First things first. Let’s talk about the kids…Ok. Now, onto Slash. Just kidding. Those kids were actually pretty good. I was really impressed with the singer. I hope he never stops singing. I don’t know if they knew Slash was coming or were genuinely surprised, but I’ve been playing guitar for over 30 years and if Slash walked next to me in a club while I was playing guitar on Sweet Child and started playing next to me, I’d have about a million different feelings going through me. First, I’d feel like I had just been caught cheating on a final exam in college. Second, I’d have a sudden feeling of diarrhea. Third I’d be like “He’s probably going to ask me to join Guns n Roses after we play”. Forth, I’d realize my third thought was fantasy and probably fart and mess up a chord at which point Slash would move to the far end of the stage as I hang my head in shame. You get the idea.
