My mom was a lunch lady for 20+ years. She's also a lifelong SNL fan since 1975. This is one of her all time favorite sketches, if not THE favorite. R.I.P. Chris and Norm.

I swear the lunch lady at my school was the sweetest person, warmed our meals and our hearts. Thanks to all the lunch ladies.

My mom was a lunch lady for years. She took the time to learn the kids first names. She always had a pocket of change in case the kids were short of money. She went to as many of the schools game's as she could. The basketball team made a seat area just for her. One year the seniors dedicated the yearbook to her. She went on Christmas break in 2018 and had a massive stroke that ultimately ended her life. Many of the school staff and students attended her wake and burial. They absolutely loved my mom.

I love how Chris could still make Sandler nearly crack up laughing just by dancing around and being hilarious without even saying a word - pure talent ❤️😆

2:19 now that’s quite a moment right there. Two friends looking each other in the eye knowing they’re making the whole world laugh in snl just legendary!

If only Chris Farley had been able to love himself as much as everyone else loved him.

My daughter is 5 and my wife and I are 40. We showed her this song today and she LOVED it. She didn't know why Daddy was crying at the end. I just told her "it's a very beautiful song".

Can't believe it's been 25 years since Chris Farley passed away. Watching his SNL best of VHS was the hardest I'd ever laughed and he's still bringing joy to people all these years later.

I was singing this yesterday at work while serving sloppy joes. Yes I'm a lunch lady 😂

The greatness of SNL is measured by moments like these. Most of the sketches are mediocre but when the magic happens, its special.

Dear Adam Sandler, I’m so sorry for your loss man. Chris was such an amazing inspirational person for me and I never got to even see him in person. I know he was your very close friend. If ever you see this, thank you for everything you and your friend did. you guys brought joy to the world. Just know, I’m a person who made it threw some hard times because of you guys.

My favorite parts of this sketch are the moments where Adam Sandler is trying so hard not to laugh at Farley. Especially when they sing “sloppy Joe” together they’re legit bros

In 1995 I was in 8th grade and our music teacher Mr. Gatti was a no-nonsense guy, with a reputation of being stodgy and short-fused. He assigned us each to pick a piece of music, analyze it, and present it. Being a screwball, I chose this song from Adam's comedy album. Mr. Gatti was laughing his butt off throughout the whole thing. Best memory of 8th grade.

I still know all the words to this. This was the generation of snl that was on when I was a kid and my parents would tape the episodes. I watched this one over and over.

Stepping out of the shower this morning I randomly began saying to myself, “Hoagies and Grinders, Hoagies and Grinders, ” so I pulled this song up on Spotify. Once I heard the first 10 seconds on Spotify I knew I needed to see Farley tearing it up, so I came to YouTube. And then I got sad. And then I got bittersweetly happy knowing I was alive to see Farley do his thing each week, and to just have experienced what he had to give. We love you Farley, and we all still think about you quite often.

One of the things I love about Adam Sandler is he makes movies just to be ridiculous and have fun with his friend's and is just a regular down to earth guy and not some stuck up Hollywood celebrity

Chris Farley was so gifted. I am sure he suffered quietly, as most heavy people do. Low self esteem comes with that territory, and coping with your inner pain is wrapped up tightly with humor. He was the best.
