“Profitability is unknown on platforms you don’t own.” Yes, that becomes more glaringly apparent to me each day. When running Amazon Ads, I see certain orders made which increase my sales, but then within a day some of those orders disappear, and the sales numbers disappear with them. I do not (and it seems, cannot) know whether these disappeared orders were canceled, if they were errors to begin with, or if Amazon did something like simply remove my own credit for a legitimate sale (I just don't know). I can't really track it

Everyone runs Facebook ads straight to their AMZ/KDP books… I’m confused. I do it and I know hundreds of other authors who do. You can look up popular self-published authors in ads library and see that they’re all doing it too. We don’t need to use a pixel for that. Am I misunderstanding?
