This video contains its own Video ID.

After I uploaded the video I found out it has been done before:

I actually made this video in 2018, because I thought I discovered something cool. But after I made the video I noticed other people have done it before me :D so I never published it. Haxember is a good reason to share it now :)

Now create a video that contains its own MD5 and SHA1 hashes.

That is the most lowercase "g" looking "9" I've ever seen.

Short and concise. Thank you for not trying to stretch the video to 10 minutes.

The "concatenate parts of a media file on the fly" trick is used by podcast servers, so if you listen to a 3-year-old iHeartRadio podcast it'll have current advertisements in it. The ads are concatenated into the stream as it is sent from the server to you.

This video was particularly chill somehow.

Fun fact: there are companies that offer services of random numbers by recording a continous bunch of kittens and lava lamps etc. And converting the image files each frame to a number.

Also the randomness of youtube IDs are really important because otherwise you can determine where to find unlisted videos if you were to try hard enough.

[Edit: Changed private to unlisted, mistake on my part]

Its quite simple: The solution is to think of Time, not in a straight line, but as a big ball of wibbley wobbley, timey wimey, stuff.

I've had the idea once, but never could realize it. Great to see someone who attempted this

When you mentioned the importance of truly random numbers I was hoping you would gives some examples like cloudflare's lava lamps or some other fun ways companies have generated their random numbers

The "magic trick" is neat, but i was happily impressed by how cool the method behind it was! Beginning to upload a video, then editing and creating a new video whilst that is uploading and swapping to the new video mid upload! The first 10 seconds are 1 video, and then its seamlessly switched to a completely different file!

“So did I predict the ID? Well actually, no. The answer is surprisingly simple.”

This Video-ID seems to contain 'Thc', feeling high already.

I saw this in a book once. The book contained it's own isbn( international standard book number) number.

I'm pretty sure the book was brainjack by Brian Faulkner. Though I could be wrong

I thought he did a live stream, recorded the ID part live, then left the whole live on as a video and, finally, used YouTube Studio to cut some portions of the video out.
So I went to the video description to check but no, it was uploaded as a video. Well done sir, well done.
