Self-aware Genshin Characters

They know!! They know above their own conciousness! These are 5 genshin characters that are self-aware, or you can call it breaking the fourth wall. Normal genshin characters don't do that. However there are some special ones. Maybe these isn't intended by hoyoverse. But we will never know because there are still alot of mysteries about genshin impact.

I think Paimon's disappeared in story before. When you exit a dialogue where Paimon appeared, she disappears, even without opening the menu.

yun jin also breaks the fourth wall in her hangout event in the route where you try to become an opera performer. she says: "think not of yourself as you, but as someone outside this world controlling your every move".

Traveler also knows about Paimon disappearing, they ask her about it in a voiceline where Paimon asks them how they can make their weapon disappear and stand on their back. Kinda breaks the 4th wall too 🤷‍♀️

I'm pretty sure the paimon one is confirmed lorewise, and rosaria has brought this up during albedo's stroy quest as well. Same with the traveler when paimon asks how he makes his weapon disappear, the traveler then asks paimon how she disappears

For yae's case, she just resumes the facial animation for NA2 and 3. Observe her face while doing NA1-3 without canceling and she will do the same facial animation.

Considering how Hoyo loves breaking the 4th wall in Honkai Impact I'm glad at least some of it made it across to Genshin.

Paimon once mention about stamina thing at the start of the game and Katheryne too talk about "Adventure EXP", though they didn't talk much these stuff later on so I thought that this is just the tutorial for new players but it still amaze me that they let them said these thing instead of put them in tutorial menu.

many characters make faces when you cancel their attacks, for example the traveler, xiangling, chongyun, barbara, amber, lisa etc.

i like how miko sighs and closes her eyes taking a deep breath after switching back to her, its like shes thinking "keep your cool miko, keep your cool"

Funny how yoimiya who is confirmed to becoming partially deaf to fireworks can hear paimon's bloop bloop menu sfx

Yunjin says "do you ever feel like someone is controlling your every move" in her hangiut quest 💀

The similar one to Qiqi. Sometimes it happens to the 5* characters for me on their Burst animation and they have this blank stare. Qiqi is supposed to have her eyes closed in her Burst animation. I Sometimes get Kazuha blank stare from the side or Ayaka. And Nahida's Burst with her eyes blank staring is more horrifying.
