THIS Is Why Family and Children Are so Important to God and to Society!

Has the traditional family unit, or the concept of family in general, become obsolete? Like it or not, there is no debate that the structure of the average family is very different than 50, 25 or even 10 years ago. At what cost? At what cost to the individuals immediately affected, especially children? And at what cost to humanity as a whole as we try to retain society while removing one of its core foundations—the family? Does Family Matter?

My wife and I just celebrated our 60th wedding anniversary. We were married when she was 17 and I was 18. We raised four fine children. We forgot that children grow up to be teen agers, but we lived through it. My parents had to deal with me when I was a teenager. The bible is true, First John 1:8 If we say we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. My wife and I are not perfect, and we understand that from the start. Love is still the greatest commandment.

Having said all of this, I have nothing but compassion for those whose marriages fall apart for what ever reason. I can not imagine the pain and the hurt of what people go through. We lost our second oldest Son to an accident when He was 42. That was pain enough, but my wife and I had each other to share the burden together. We survived because of our faith in the only one who really cares. Jesus Christ, and know that all things work together for good to them that love God, and are called according to His purpose. Not ours.

Thank You for the telecast! Biblical morals are way underestimated by many as a whole, and that's very sad, and not knowing them causes great confusion for young people in our modern society, but for many older people too!

Even if your parents abandon, throw you away, leave you in poverty and danger, deny that you are theirs you will be blamed for not being full of family values. This is how people are abused and become chronically mentally ill.
"Family values" is a lovely idea but if that's a smokescreen and that's not what's happening God wants you to look out for your health and well-being.

The family has disintegrated. It is now "yours, mine, and ours". CONFUSION!

Not anymore! It was the strongest bond and helped build a society and communities. It had to go, especially us men.
