This is awesome to watch!! I am currently 12 years old, and have had type 1 diabetes since I was 6 years old. Although it really sucks to have diabetes, I don’t let it affect how I live, or what people think of me. That’s why it is so heartwarming to see that you don’t care about what other people think about you, but you just want to educate others on our condition. Keep doing what you’re doing, and don’t let it affect you in any way possible. ❤❤

I’ve been type 1 for 2 years. Got it at 28yo! I was a paramedic and worked in the emergency room for 8 years before my diagnosis. I want to stay hopeful that there will be a cure soon but I know there won’t be. It’s something thats very complicated down to a cellular level. Even if they find a way to inject new stem cells or something then your body will just attack the new cells like it did before. What’s going to fix this is gene editing and we are a long way from waking into your doctor office and getting that done. The best we can hope for is better and new technologies so we can make it easier to have type 1 diabetes

My friend cannot seem to figure out that my blood sugar goes high and low. He keeps asking “Do you have high blood sugar problems or low blood sugar problems”. He’s not the sharpest tool in the shed
