Though the design was less "elegant", remember when phones had easily removable batteries!? 😄

And some manufacturers even packed a 2nd battery plus standalone battery charger in the box!

No portable power bank needed anymore. And when the battery would get old, you could buy another one for cheap and replace it yourself in seconds.

People who are against this have never replaced their phone battery themselves before. I’d rather spend an extra few dollars to get alligator clips and a 9V battery to do this than having to apply heat and pry out the battery, which, not only takes at least 15 minutes, but also incredibly dangerous as you risk puncture while prying. Virtually every repair channels I watch have said this is a good thing.
