I tried to replace the back glass on my iPhone SE 2020 back in 2021 and I ended up puncturing the battery in the process. About a week ago I found my iPhone in the closet and figured I’d do some research into how hard it would be to replace the battery. Thanks to your video. I was able to successfully replace the battery and my iPhone SE 2020 is fully functional. Thank you.

Just replaced the battery in my phone following this guide. After having slight difficulty in getting the back off everything went fine. The top tips for me were using the IPA and testing the phone properly before reassembly. Many thanks 👍🏻

Hey iDoctor I successfully changed my iPhone battery it is a special edition 2020 and I'm really really happy. last time I changed the battery I made a mistake probably I connected the screen while the battery was connected and the result was that the touch was not working anymore and now I successfully changed it everything is working... front camera back and everything is fine. I one mistake I made I wasn't able to get the adhesive strips out correctly. So what I did I got an hair dryer and using the hair dryer I heated up the back side of the iPhone and that really worked. After you heat up the backup side of the phone you can use a suction cup which is very important and I use that to get the battery off the phone and thanks I was following your tutorial all along and I think you did a pretty good job and you are absolutely professional.

Thanks for this. I followed along to this to successfully complete my first ever (modern) phone battery replacement. This was loads simpler than the ifixit guide, which suuggests removing all sorts of components, and uses heat on the screen. If only I could live with that battery warning!

Great stuff. Thank you. Really helpful. My new battery didn't have the moisture/ dust protector but other than that everything was spot on. Looking forward to seeing if there is a way to get rid of the notification saying it's not a genuine battery. THANKS AGAIN. 👍👍👍👍

What is the “non genuine part warning” in settings? Is this an issue that should prevent me from doing this repair?

Hi went really well but I struggles with the small screws and builders fingers it took longer to get the screws back in than anything else. Followed all the advise tho and apart from that absolutely no issues

can you recharge your phone for an emergency (when the charging port is broken) this way? Where would you connect the positive and negative cable?
