Fujifilm X-E3 Review It's only 499 these days!

I picked up a Fujifilm X-E3 new and from a reputable shop for only 599, and it came with the Fujinon 15-45mm lens. A great deal on a great camera.

Get a 3rd party grip (I have Meike), it screws to the bottom and leaves an opening for SD card/battery. You can attach a plate to the grip without affecting access to battery door.

Nice video thanks :) but the XC15-45mm does have the optical image stabi you just need to activate it in the body

Nice review with just the details I was looking for. I'm eagerly awaiting the launch of the E4 to decide whether I'll go with that or the S10. The E3 was available for ~ $700 with the 18-55 here in India, which I think was an awesome deal for this brilliant little camera.

Thank you for this, I found it really useful. I have been looking at an upgrade for my a6000 and the X-E3 has popped into my radar as a possibility. Better resolution EVF, and Im hoping it will fix my 2 big complaints about the a6000 series cameras, no GPS tagging and a really flaky app for getting photo's off the camera and onto the phone. Is the Fuji app any better?

2:16 Auto doesn’t really take RAW in all Fuji cameras as far as I know.

How did you get 599 including the kit lens they're on sale brand new for 500 without I'm torn between this are gr 3 it's going to be my only purchase for a while I know I can drop off gr 3...

The evf borderline useless? Dont agree at al, 0, 62 magnification is not huge (like a x-t1 or sony a7) but quite usable

I don't get the criticism that you have to push the front dial to switch between ISO and exposure comp. It has dual function only if you want it to. Otherwise use it for ISO only. Maybe I misunderstood...

Great review. Thanks. You should consider to buy the Fujinon 18mm or the 27mm pancake with a lense like that, this camera is a killer. It can fit in your pocket of your jeans.... I have the X-E1 and will hopefully soon upgrade to the X-E3. Love

The EVF is not crap, its OLED with a reasonable magnification and the viewfinder size is on par with x-pro3. X-e3 eye point is 17.5mm, mag. 0.62x, x-pro3 eye point is 16.8mm, mag. 0.66x.

Would you say this is as good as the Sony a7?
I think both have a full frame sensor?
Or perhaps iPhone 22 pro max bests them both

Hi, I really enjoyed this video. A couple of questions to do with the EVF delay problem.
-Do you know if all the X-series cameras have the delay problem with the viewfinder? I've seen several user forums which report this is an issue with the X-E1, 2 and 3 and X-T20.
-when you're taking photos with this camera, do you just use the LCD screen instead? Does this use up the battery?

I'm an party photographer and use the xt3 and xe3..there obviously is a big difference between view-finders but the xe3s decent..not bad at all!.

If you're street shooting, a couple of pushes of the dedicated (View) button changes view mode to EVF only!
Where's the problem if there's a well considered solution?
For under 30 Euros, get an L bracket, allowing access to the battery door and SD Card, problem solved.
Why bother shooting RAW when Fuji jpeg are gorgeous SOOC?

Your review is pretty thorough but I disagree on much of your assessments.
The viewfinder is smaller than the X-E1 that I previously had but still very useable. I only use this and not with the eye sensor mode so it’s on permanently. I only use the screen for reviewing images and the menu selections.
If people agree with you on the size/functionality of the viewfinder, then simply buy the screen only version X-A1 or 2 or newer. The menu system is pretty robust, in my opinion. I love the touch screen and joystick options and the Bluetooth capability for transferring photos wirelessly. Much of the menu information/functions are beyond my requirements but when set up to my own preference, this is the best digi I’ve ever owned and would recommend it to anyone. Oh, and I too have the 15/45 lens and by choice. It’s perfectly fine. 😉👍
