We haven't got much to spend. Have never had debts, but honestly, if you have to choose between a pack of 20 cookies and 1 apple, the latter won't feed you for a few days.
10 years ago, a Lidl store opened near us. Since that day we can afford to eat vegetables daily AND we have been able to eat fruit 3 to 4 times a week!! Our first fruits since our marriage! I have even had the enjoyment of eating yoghurts!!
I thank Lidl from my heart for making the difference for people like me. Healthy food is waaay to expensive in other shops.

I lived in Germany for the first 12 years of my life. We shopped at Aldi all the time. After moving to America I didn't see one again for 17 years, until I visited Missouri. I have never entered a store so fast in my entire life.

the way I raided a REWE before going back to Luxembourg :') I bought so much for my parents and they hated it all, unthankful pack of bidshes 😭
