In Mumbai, cases are dropping not because of the reduction in Omnicorn but due to people are not doing the RTPCR tests. They are doing a home kit antigen test of covid. Antigen covid home kit is quite accurate.

I will say I usually agree with Palki but here I find she her views seem very self righteous and indignant.

The New York times does not represent “Europe” or the “West”, it is an American ivory tower left wing magazine that that constantly makes similar ignorant claims about American working class as it just did with India.
I wonder she would criticise the “living with covid” statements fron European politicians if it came from Indian PM Modi?
Countries can cooperate and help each other in this pandemic but every nation need decide for themselves what tactics that fits their population.

I think Europe has their rights to follow their normal "natural recovery" attitude. But it can't be for our India, coz of dense population.
For US, they are capitalist in medicines too. So it is not wrong if their people has started questioning the whole event. I think we should question too. May be it was not only Wuhan, may be it was planned by US, or US's capitalist medical companies.

The point of lockdowns and vaccination was to delay the inevitable, to prevent saturation in hospitals. It still happened. If a cautious approach was useless, then maybe dealing with it right now (getting infected) might be the best choice in the end.
