Ask yourself this. How many times have you cancelled on a job interview, the day of or a couple days before? Slim to none. If it's important, you make time.

When a girl cancels on me last minute I genuinely just lose all interest and end up unmatching. I can't go through with another date after I lost interest/excitement. Saves the time for both of us.

The "Do Not" list was excellent, Courtney. After being disrespected: it is important to stop yourself, take a deep breath and think about the offender and the situation, accept it for what it is and move on. Find someone who *does* respect you and shows genuine interest in you.

Answer: Let her counteroffer and if she doesn't counteroffer, she wasn't interested or not investing the time in you and best to move on. It can swing both ways though

I had a woman stand me up and when she hit me wit that "I'll make it up to you" bull crap, I was calm and told her that if she's serious about making up the date, that she would have to make the arrangements. I had never heard from her after that and it told me all I needed to know.

If a woman flakes a second time it may also be that her life is out of control and that you probably ought to steer dear of her drama.

The fact that you get this question so much is a statement in itself. It tells us how often women do this. Women make time for the guys they want. They don't flake on them. Women who do this either don't want us, or have too many other options.

What's amazing to me is how many profiles you see on Hinge, Bumble, etc., where she says she wants "honesty" and/or "communication" more than anything else....then proceeds to pull all this garbage once you're texting. The entire idea of "I'm talking to you b/c I'm bored and have no interest in meeting you" is inherently dishonest, inconsiderate and really just sleazy. And yet, I cannot overemphasize how often I see this in women. Maybe it's just women on the apps, I don't know, but the majority of women do it.

I wish more women watched these videos so they could see the consequences of their actions. It's the quality men that walk away after being flaked on which leaves these ladies with the subpar options. Play stupid games, win stupid prizes.

I can only imagine how many times people ask you about this haha 😄 I think if they cancel but offers to reschedule that week; she's definitely still interested. Let her make the effort after that. If it happens twice, time to move on. Some people especially in this social media age just want attention. It happened to me this year. I'm definitely not waiting around for anyone. Great tips! If a girl flakes on you - don’t keep on playing her games.

No woman is going to respect a man, she can easily manipulate, that’s only going to lead to more bad behavior from her down the line.

This is why you got to have standards, expectations, and boundaries - basically, things you’ll tolerate from a woman, and things, you’ll not!

Until you figure that out, this type of things are always going to happen to you!

This happened to me 3 days ago. I meet this girl that I like a lot about a month ago. I thought we had a lot of things in common. I decided to invite her to go to a Xmas concert and she said yes. The night before the concert she cancelled. She came out with too many excuses. It hurt so bad to go to the concert by myself. Next day when I saw her. She just told me that she was glad that I got to go. She didn't say sorry, I wish I could be there or any kind of remorse. That was for me the sign that told me that it was time to walk away. It has been hard for me because I have to see her at work almost every day.

this is a respect thing. moreso a problem in the under 30 crowd. they feel this is acceptable in hookup culture.

On point. A cancellation is *not necessarily* flaking, such as if they have an emergency, get ill, or some such. If the other person wants to get together with you, they *will* make it clear enough, and make an obvious effort to get together at a better time, sooner than later. If they don't, then it's clear enough they either *don't* want to be with you *or* have some major insecurities it's best not to deal with.

I love these suggestions especially how not to react it carries on to all situations not just getting flaked by a lady.
I'm making sure my grandson knows how not to react negatively when he encounters that things don't go his way.
