i just got charged by a tiger shark while surfing yesterday afternoon at green walls kailua beach, i was about 50 feet from shore enjoying the sunset and then looked down and as soon as i look down this huge tiger shark charges perpendicular to my board straight in front of me, as soon as it charges i do the fastest 180 on my surfboard of my life, kick my feet up and paddle as fast as i can back to shore, scariest 30 seconds of my life, once i get back i just lay in the sand and thank god he didn’t get me, two guys came to check up on me and i had to stop 4 girls from going in the water, thank goodness that happened before they went in

When I was still surfing one of the things I loved most about it was the quiet especially early in the morning.The idea of having music blasting in my ears while trying to enjoy such a fulfilling natural experience is unpleasant to say the least.
