This is a glimpse of what occurred on Day 2 of when Tahiti's July 13th Code Red ll swell hit Waikiki on July 17, 2022. Although it's not nearly as big as the footage we saw at Teahupoo on July 13, it's still big enough to go down as one of the biggest south swells to hit Hawaii in Decades. As you'll see in this video, some breaks are more exposed to the swell direction than others.

Amazing editing!! One of the most unique surf drones edits I’ve seen recently. Nice original music and slow-mo sets of nearly every rider out there, not just one person or two. Big Props as this is very time consuming but all worth it in the end 😎😊😌

Wow! Beautiful footage! Unbelievable waves on Waikiki. I lived on Oahu for 9 years when I was in the navy stationed at MCBH Kaneohe. I took diving lessons right off Waikiki where this was filmed. Did some kyaking out there too. It's usually so flat out there. Looks like the surfers had a blast. Hopefully everyone made it through healthy! Love Hawaii...Aloha!
