Cred was started by Kunal Shah in 2018 to change the way people use credit cards in India.He built a company named Freecharge and sold it to Snapdeal for a staggering 400 million dollars. Cred is a highly valued Fintech startup in India with a valuation of over $6 billion. Cred is doing groundbreaking work in the financial technology (Fintech) space by providing cutting-edge credit card solutions. He decided to enter the Fintech startup space with the concept of CRED, which is designed to revolutionise the credit card market in India. Cred is currently aiming to change the way people use credit cards by rewarding them for paying their credit card bills on time.This will help to create a culture of trust among people, and help to make people more responsible. CRED is currently losing money, but it is still worth $6 billion. The question is, despite its losses, is CRED still a valuable company?

Okay, so now I see. These PhysicsWallah and Aman Dhattarwal has won over distribution. Initially, Aman had distribution over students in +2, but as they grew and were undergraduates he rolled out new products to the same distribution.

Creating a distribution system without any product has resulted in so many start ups failing once the investors money dries up.
Cred has to again run ads to sell products.
Do you think the HNIs discussed in this video don't know about their hidden charges. They take premium credit cards that have annual charges to get extra benefits.
One app for all credit card payments is the only good service Cred provides for people with multiple credit cards. But it's free for customers currently.
I wish their next ad will be on some product they can sell for profit.

Everything about CRED is just top class. Their brand design, tech, marketing. Its just that its huge and ambitious bet onto the future. a company that had to raise close to 800M$ at a valuation close to 6B$ says a lot about the value creation happening in the present not to mention their revenue is just 400 cr as of 2022. Probably THE most ambitious and risky start in India right now.

The same can be said for Aevy Tv - Its building trust community as well with quality content that not only will help his current business but also future ideas.
