HOW TO DO YOUR FIRST WHEELIE! (600cc SPORTBIKE)

What's up guys! Today's video is all about how to do your first wheelie. Of course, make sure you are being safe if you decide to try this. Find a closed/empty road and wear your gear. In the video, I'll teach you things like body positioning and how to use the controls you'll need to do a wheelie.

All of my wheelies have been accidental and uneventful. Once I was turning left off a road and a car abruptly crested the hill. I added throttle and the front came up in the middle of my turn. Not a problem at all. The bike kept turning and it was still leaned.. perfect landing too!

I learned to wheelie on a 400EX way back in the day. I had to grind the sissy bar a few times to find balance point. Now that I have a street bike that cost three times as much, it's a little harder to find balance point now that there is nothing to catch me if I tip it a little too far. So I am learning all over again, and it's weird, I know I can do it, and I know what balance point feels like, but I really don't want to watch my bike slide down the asphalt.

Just picked up my first ZX-6R, 2018 model back on Memorial Day weekend. I love it!! Where do you get your seat from. I am also learning to wheelie as well, without anyone know. Lol. One day I’ll just bust out in front of everyone with a nice long wheelie. Thanks for the info in the video!!

I recently started to wheelie on my cbr300, its a lot of fun and puts a huge smile on my face, however I just got a new '24 636 three weeks ago, I ordered full Impaktech crash cages & sub but have been getting urges to start wheelies on my new bike before they come in the mail. I am glad you touched base on this topic @ Time Stamp 4:20 because when I try to wheelie on my new bike, it just feels like I am going over a speed bump, like a jerk or jolt when riding. it's intimidating to me because I am on a new powerful bike and I don't want to damage it.

Only question left if i should invite the boys to learn wheelies togheter... (was a great journey on bicycles as well), or just learn it in silence and bust out a 200meter wheelie out of nowhere 😂 But to be quite honest, the journey of learning it togheter was a great memory, always going out in the evening or after school, and seeing the process

I tried to pop my wheel up on my new r6 tonight cause I’ve been able to do baby wheelies on my ninja 650, I got way too much rpms and looped my bike, broke my subframe near the backseat, gonna try to weld it tomorrow, also broke my sator case, gonna swap the case out tomorrow, sad sad day but my gear made me not feel a thing and also ngl 10/10 would do again w a cage or frame sliders, WHAT A RUSH, even crashing 😳😭😂

I've never wheelied and I really want to learn but I have a 2006 ZX10R.. Should I start learning in 2nd on third gear? And how much throttle, approximately, do you reckon I should give it and at what speed?

Doing a power wheelie like your braking zone is huge. Lots will be so focussed on holding the wheelie that they forget ablut barriers/walls hurt.
