When a new upgrade is planned, do you run the simulations on previous tracks you raced at in the season and compare the results? How do teams know that the upgrade brings performance?
Maybe my question stems from lack of understanding. I would appreciate an informative reply. Thank you.

i still cannot believe you guys were so wrong with this car. with so much talent, and resources i don't understand how you got the science wrong. I would love to hear from Emma Corfield and Claire Simpson (aero team) on why the car is so draggy compared to Red bull and where do they think they have missed the mark. Anyway Kudos to the team fo giving this insight hopefully the B spec is much better
