Exactly what happened to me, I didn't know I was the recipient. But the surgeon came out after 3 hours said he was taking a break and going back in, a bigger tumor on my spin than expected. Operated for four more hours. I cannot imagine that he ever parties the night before. Maybe now, 15 years later, I was his 3rd operation after graduation.

Sadly my career (finance/accounting) doesn't have any "well it's not..." quips. But frankly if I were a rocket scientist or a brain surgeon I'd be using those every single time I did anything related to my job. I'd be there repairing some cerebral aorta and someone would be like "doctor, do you [blah blah blah]" and I'd reply "well it ain't brain surgery, " then pause for a moment and add "ok well, it IS, but still..." LOL
