This doctor just radiates intelligent, cool confidence. If I needed a neurosurgeon I'd want someone just like him. Great interview!

It’s pretty interesting that his wife is a neurologist and he’s a neurosurgeon. :)

"Take a deep breath, and remember the body has an amazing ability to heal itself"

For some reason, I found this abstractly comforting.

loved it.
He is so humble and has positive aura.
A neurosurgeon and a neurologist, two neuro people in one family that's exciting.
Gonna watch this whenever I feel unmotivated.
I was smiling ear to ear until the very end.
Thanks for this 😊❤.

If a person wants money they'll go into finance NOT medical school. It's way too long and brutal to simply do for money. 4 years of college+ 4 years of med school+ 7 years of residency+ 2 years of fellowship= 17 YEARS of training. There are faster ways to make money so DO NOT go into medicine if your goal is to "make money." You have to LOVE the field of medicine and helping people or else you'll be angry and bitter. - This is coming from a medical student 7 years in.

It was very heartening to see how genuinely grateful Dr. Rutkowski was to his residents. I am sure he is a wonderful teacher, and they are lucky to have him as well.

At first I thought the house looked familiar, I even thought it was a fake house that you use for your videos then you mentioned his neurologist wife.

I’m an neurosurgery operating room nurse at Emory so it’s cool to see doctors outside the OR!!

Omg when the video first started i was like “do all houses in Georgia look the same?? this looks almost identical to the neurologist house” it all makes sense lol

Thank you soo much for this video. People looked at me as though I was insane when I said I wanted to do neurosurgery. But honestly I'm motivated. I know I'm just at the beginning, applying for Med schools but I will get there. Thank you ❤

Dr. Rutkowski is extremely grounded and humble. I’m about to go into medical school and definitely watching these successful doctors gives me even more motivation and passion for the field!

Neurosurgeon's have the eye's of a hawk, the heart of a lion and hands of a lady. I have come to fully believe this after my sister had multiple craniotomy's because of having glioblastoma (may she RIP) and now myself having a craniotomy for two out four anyerisms that was treated by clipping. My surgeon and his surgical team saved my life. I have so much respect and gratitude for him.

One of my classmates became a neurosurgeon. He was notable for graduating second in the class and for having had the highest National Board scores in the country.
