My ophthamalogist charges $35 for s refraction (glasses prescription). I buy my glasses on-line for $6.50 per pair. Due tochronic health conditions I would hit the Medicare Advantage MOOP every year. I can afford to spend $50 or so every 2-3 years for glasses and $95 per year for dental cleanings. Rather than pay the $5, 900 MOOP every year for the only decent MA plan in my area. I very much prefer my "F" supplement. As far a drug coverage goes, my stand alone Part D plan costs $11.10 per month. Don't forget to tell the people you talk to that the drug plan copays do NOT count toward the MA plan MOOP.
