You guys crack me up, you got the cheese right, but I will do 1/4th of the bacon (5 slices), 4 eggs, avocado. And YES love that salad and it’s the correct size. Also I don't do anymore popcorn or alcohol and the cost of a meal is roughly around $6 and do 2 meals and sometimes 1 meal.

I started Keto following Dr. Berg. I originally began with his supplements, but found that I can use whole food supplements much cheaper. I don't eat breakfast. I work at a company where I get two 15 minute breaks. During each of the breaks I have a salad. Each is about 3-4 cups of vegetables. I use organic field greens, celery, cucumber, radish, red bell pepper, broccoli spouts (which I grow myself), an egg on each, about 1/4 cup of nuts during my first salad and half an avocado during my second second. I make my own salad dressing with apple cider vinegar, a little water, some herbs I have blended, about 1 Tbsp. Organic Dijon Mustard and MCT oil. In the evening, I have about 5 ounces of a meat with a couple vegetables. I add some "treats" occasionally (Keto desserts which I make about twice a month). I began Keto for my health. I just saw my doctor yesterday and he gave me and A+. He said I should teach others how to eat and how to cook. He said he would send patients to me. Made me feel good to hear it. I've lost over 65 lbs., have eliminated 90% of my medications. I began because I was told for about four years that I had a fatty liver. In February I was told that my liver is normal, that there is no evidence of a fatty liver. I did all that with eating like Dr. Berg suggests.

Totally obsessed with food! (that's how I got to be over 300lbs!) But now that I am doing Keto I am shifting my obsession to learning about nutrition, new recipes and trying new tastes/flavours. I eat like Mega, I love one bowl meals! Thanks for doing this video. I'm just finding Dr. Berg videos now, very helpful. I've lost 60lbs in 6 months. Long way to go!

Usually when I cook bacon for a meal, the bacon never makes it to meal time

I mix my own salad dressing: MTC oil, ACV, turmeric, truffle salt, garlic powder, lemon pepper. YUM.

I’m totally with Megha. I like all my food mixed up. I can’t eat one like item on my plate at a time. It all tastes so good together.

Sometimes I don't want avocado and I stare at it like we both know what's going on.

Sneaky funny aka "dry humor." I love Dr. Berg too.

Well, dr Berry says do your best to eat the cleaner foods. Not too many of us can afford dr Berg's food which is ok, just do your best. At all cost stay away from processed food and carbs .

Whaaaattt? You eat the croute of the cheese? Here in France, we don't... and it smells because its taped.. you need to air it an hour before eating.

My wife eats exactly like Matt and I eat exactly like Megha. Conclusion, my wife and Matt are weird! And why would you not save the best bite for last? Sometimes you need to specially decide what flavor you want to end a meal on...its not weird...

Love how Matt is eating the cheese like it's a gourmet steak lol. Also...you could make one giant omelette with the eggs, cheese, bacon and avocado. Itd be huge though, but it be all together.

When Dr. Berg does the list of the carb loaded processed foods always cracks me up "cookies, crackers, breads, donuts" too funny! He realized the connection between the USDA food pyramid and the declining health of Americans. He does have a lot of informative videos, but I wish his supplements weren't so expensive. I do try to get from food what I need, but so tempting to pop a pill. I really feel like he is truly genuine about him caring about the state of our diets.

Divide the 10 cups of salad between the two (or three) meals and it will be easier to deal with.
Just a suggestion though.

He did say that if you are eating high quality leafy greens than you wouldnt need that much. You would have to look up the nutrition stats to figure out how many mg of potassium you were getting (including that avocado). It is a daily target of 4700mg that is the goal, not the volume of the veggies alone.

Now do Thomas DeLauer's food recommendations.

I'm more like Megha haha every time I take a bite of one food group, I move on to the next. So, if I have 4 things on my plate, I take one bite of each food so it remains "proportional".
